Public BBQ

A playground on a hill at Forde built for older children with climbing ability: a large metal structure with a holed climbing wall, a ball-shaped rock wall, incline poles, sloped netting and spider netting inside, plus monkey bars, a wobble board, a swivel pole and a swirling cup seat. Children under about four are limited to a single seesaw and a bucket swing. A large sheltered seating area holds two metal picnic tables, bench seating, two barbecues and a bubbler, with a bike rack alongside. A shade sail covers the main section but not the smaller children's area, and the surrounding bushland gives room for ball sports or a picnic. There are no toilets, no bins and no car park, only street parking. Watch the high step up from the barbecue shelter, and avoid the middle of the day in summer, when the equipment stays hot.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
